Hello!

I am Phanee (pronounced fan-EEEE, with a long e sound at the end)! I am a 28-year old biology graduate, just finding my feet in the world, after studying for the last ten years.

Born in England, but raised in Greece, I spent the last few years in Glasgow studying towards a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Glasgow. However, right now, I am back in my "hometown" of Heraklion on the lovely island of Crete in Greece, about to start a new job as a Research Assistant!

The aim of this blog is to provide an outlet for expression, so you can expect anything and everything depending on where life takes me! And for that, some quick-fire wit and some whimsicalness are sorely needed...!
