Thank you for being here and reading this post.
First things first: introductions! My name is Phanee (pronounced fan-EEEEE, with a long E sound on the end) and I am a 28-year-old biology graduate. After finishing my PhD at the University of Glasgow in November 2017, I found myself at a loss as to what I want to do in my life, which was definitely not helped along by the fact that it has taken me a while to find a job relevant to my field of study.
But here I am, finally about to start a new job in September, realising that I desperately need an outlet where I can share things about life - anything and everything from travel and reading to home life, job stuff and family. I used to have a blog years and years ago, which was solely focused on book reviews and allowed me no flexibility for any other kind of expression. As such, I want to keep my new little corner of the internet unfocused and not restricted to a specific type of content - I just want to go with the flow and post things that are important and interesting to me!
So, fingers crossed this works out! I don't have any plans for now, but I hope to find a routine with it before not too long!
